From Sign-Painter to Artist

I’ve always had an inclination towards to the arts since as early as I can recall. Before I even realized my own artistic ability I gravitated towards composition in my choice of careers. I began as a Sign Painter and Calligrapher, where I painted large sign panels, Real estate Signs, Billboards, Illustrations, logos, Full architectural renderings for construction sites, as well as vehicle lettering. As technology evolved for Fine Arts in NY State I needed to as well, and discovered a talent for Graphic Design. 

Although I tried to hang on to the old way as long as I could the world of Computerized Vinyl Graphics was underway and there was no stopping it. The one thing I didn’t see is how it would form my career instead of breaking it.  Now I work to create what ever art I want and I just love it. I offer originals, prints, and so much more. I also offer consignment work for pet portraits, Landscape, Wildlife and Sea Life.

Oh my lord, I can't even begin to tell you how in love I am with this painting (and the print. and ALL of your work!!) It is SO gorgeous, in person even more Beautiful than on your site. I am SO incredibly honored and thrilled to own one of your paintings and I truly will cherish it forever and ever.  I can't thank you enough. I highly recommend JC Fine Arts for your pet portraits. I sent John individual pictures of my three dogs and he sketched them out in a cohesive arrangement then sent me a picture of it with the option to make changes. But I knew that as an artist, John was creating a painting from his personal perspective and I was more than happy with what he was doing. He even created a perfect background for them as I'd originally posed the dogs in front of a plain wall in the house so that he could see the main subjects clearly. John's finished painting of my babies was absolutely beautiful! I will forever cherish it and I'm so happy I found JC Fine Arts. Kristina
